it’s amazing how life just changes so quickly.
i’m all for change, but this is crazy.
L is doing a clinical rotation, so I’ve been alone a lot…i have to say, i don’t hate it as much as i thought i would.
i’ve been spending a lot of time with girlfriends and makes me realize how far i’ve come in this love city. a visit to a new-er restaurant, the corner, a lot of laughs.
speaking of which, i’ve fell in love with lithe method– a form of exercise incorporating my favorite things. finally!
dinners alone take a little getting used to… my meals have been consisting of lots of salads, eggs, and amy’s burritos…you asked. thus, why i haven’t been posting… not much to report (unless you count work and car hunting).
in the midst of car trouble, a other stresses, we were able to share a glorious meal together this weekend- a feast of mediterranean dishes… tabbouleh, beet salad, grilled chicken, hummus, the works.oh and the best chocolate chip cookies around.
to cook and enjoy a meal together made my heart sing.
oh, and what’s more… I got my teach for america placement at the school i mentioned last week…now I’m excited ! I feel truly fortunate to have ‘placement’ behind me. now, if only i could get my hands on the contract.
a few weeks and i’ll be done with work. a short trip to the beach for some r&r then i’m off to a summer of america’s youth
