To be honest with you all I kind of always associated meal planning with being a ‘real adult’…which I am not. You know, the kind that keeps the house neat during the week, has a guest room and maintains a linen closet. Now that I started doing it I realized this is not the case. It’s perfect for all , even those who need a little push.
I’ve found that while planning the exact day we’ll have each meal does not work for us at all. Instead, I gather up a few simple meal ideas/recipes and figure it out along the way giving us the freedom to have what we’re in the mood for. I hope this encourages to give it a try or even plan for a couple of meals next week.
- White Bean and Chicken Chili *
- Tuna Niçoise Salads
- Homemade Pizza (trying this dough recipe for the first time) *
- Swordfish steaks with spinach salads
- Fritatta with side salad and grainy bread
Bonus: maybe these as a treat?
*These will make enough for leftovers for our lunches.
