Today is a truly wonderful occasion as my big brother and his wife will welcome their son into the world.
Oh, and how sweet is this photo?
I’m having trouble putting my thoughts down as I’m so far beyond excited for them both. Tomorrow L and I will load up the car with tokens of celebration (mostly food including the new mama’s favorite donuts from the city) and meet the little one. I have never held a newborn before and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little bit nervous..
In more “life as usual” conversation, how did meal planning go last week? For us, pretty darn successful! I really liked the flexibility to sort of mix and match ingredients but the ease of knowing there was always something (nothing like that 7pm scramble for something to eat).
Anyway, this week is totally unusual as I have dinner plans one night and L is visiting his parents for two… so that means two meals only to plan-one being something that can last a couple of days and provide us with some leftovers for lunch, too. Besides that we have some football to tend to!
Meal Plan Week 2
Super Bowl festivities. Plans are up in the air as I might just grab a few things at the store but I definitely want to give this dip a try, don’t you? How beautiful are her pictures?
