Two weeks ago was the special day of one of the most wonderful women I’ve ever met. Where do I begin talking about this person who is so unique, so beautiful, brilliant, and the reason I made it through one hell of a year.
Yasha, you’ve taught me so much in the two years that I’ve known you. You have a presence that I miss each and every day…One that centers me and those that are lucky enough to be or have been in it. Your positivity, patience, grace and joie de vivre are something I aspire so much to achieve.
You are my rock, my shining star. We held each other through a grim time and that makes our friendship so very strong and full. Now, having seen each other through a storm, we’re able to bask light even more completely.
You underestimate how incredible you are. You are inspired and inspiring…You’re full of ideas for innovation, improvement and fulfillment. You never settle. You always want more. And you are totally a no-nonsense woman. You’re the person I brag about, the one I know who can (and will) change this world. You are one hell of a woman.
So, for this next year my wish for you is to soar! Do something each and every day that excites you (like you’ve told me so, so many times). The world is yours, beauty! But let’s begin with Paris.
Happy, happy birthday to you, my love.
